The mission of the Office of External Affairs, formerly called the Public Affairs Office, is to help others to understand The Citadel's achievements, its people, and its unique mission; to heighten the image and enhance the reputation of The Citadel; and to position The Citadel within the higher education community.
The Citadel's Office of External Affairs oversees The Citadel's efforts in media and public relations, publications, photographic services, marketing, web technology, and internal and external communications.
